Next to the TMC based traffic avoidance and Text-to-Speech voice output, a particular highlight of the BECKER READY 45 LMU is the Becker SituationScan feature. Based on a package of intelligent help functions, it provides useful information and tips depending on your current whereabouts and driving situation. One such function is the Parking Assistant which comes up with suitable parking opportunities shortly before you arrive at your destination.
The BECKER READY 45 LMU comes with mapping material for 44 European countries, while the included Lifetime Map Updates ensure that your maps are always up to date, with no additional cost.* As a result, changes to routes, roundabouts or newly built residential areas will no longer cause confusion along your route.
Becker SituationScan offers a bundle of intelligent assistance features that support the driver with helpful information and recommendations depending on route of progress and the actual driving situation. With Becker SituationScan, you always have the appropriate assistant on board.
Detour Assistant:
Unexpected road closures or disabilities in the city, as well as on the highway, can be circumnavigated with a single click with the support of this assistant.
Exit Assistant:
If you leave the highway unexpectedly, Becker SituationScan will analyse possible reasons for it, for example will suggest you petrol stations nearby.
Parking Assistant:
You are almost reaching your destination and are looking for a parking space? No problem, your personal assistant on board has surely already found a suitable parking space for you.
Border assistant (READY 45/50 ICE; revo.1/revo.2):
When you approach a country border during your journey, the Becker SituationScan recognizes this and timely informs you about the last petrol station before the border. Also, you will be informed about specific regulations of the country you travel to, such as legal speed limitations or blood alcohol limits.

During your journey, the landscape you are driving through will be displayed in 3D. This provides prior notice of approaching ascents and descents or winding roads, allowing you to prepare for on-coming driving demands. For better spatial orientation buildings and other characteristic landmarks are shown along the route.

The navigation system learns as you go along. As well as taking account of historic traffic data, new data can now also be incorporated into the routing. Your navigation system collects the kilometres you travel which we combine in an anonymous format with the information from thousands of other users*. If you regularly update the navigation data on your navigation device, this will provide you with faster routes with less traffic on them, even depending on the day of the week and time of day.
Optimal route guidance based on accumulated historic traffic data. The data is based on speed measurements collected over several years, that can now be implemented directly into the route calculation. Thereby spots of high risk for traffic jams during a certain time of the day can be avoided.

The innovative HQ TMC® receiver system features a highly flexible antenna solution, lightning fast channel switching and accelerated processing of incoming TMC traffic reports. Furthermore, a traffic jam overview map gives you constant updates on the latest traffic situation, so that you can comfortably avoid any unnecessary delays.
TMC available in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland / Premium TMC is available Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and Sweden.
Adaptive Text-to-Speech: The voice output has now been optimised and extended. In addition to announcing place names, street names and exits, the system now informs you about relevant traffic delays too. The volume and length of voice announcements are automatically adjusted according to your current speed and driving environment.
Text-to-Speech is available in German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and Hungarian.

Recommended driving lanes are displayed along with realistic depictions of directional signs on main roads, as well as special 3D views of junctions on motorways.

Travel along your route safely and in a relaxed frame of mind. The speed camera warning will help you to stay within speed limits at the right time. Known blackspots can thus be identified in advance and hazards can be avoided. The warning is issued both visually and audibly (can be set).
The speed camera warning comprises speed camera data encompassing more than 22,000 fixed speed cameras in 20 European countries. The regular updates of the speed camera data ensure that the data is right up to speed. The speed camera warning can be acquired in our Becker Online Shop.
